Why Is the Book of Psalms Powerful?

I think that there is nothing more powerful than what the Creator expressed and revealed through King David in the Book of Psalms.

The Book of Psalms contains the revelation of the heart of the Creator’s will and attitude toward us, His created beings.

The Book of Psalms becomes even more powerful when it is read together with others. It has the power to truly connect people and I am happy to hear about how more and more people have been coming together to read the Book of Psalms recently, following the tragic events of October 7, 2023.

The power contained in the Book of Psalms is none other than love and connection itself, the most powerful force in existence, and King David himself talks about the connection to that force in the Psalms.

What Is the Difference Between Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory?While we are alive here in this world, i.e., this form of existence of protein-based matter, there is an immense number of tiny grains of egoism, which are corrupted desires to enjoy for self-benefit alone that were created by the Creator—the single force of love and bestowal that created and sustains reality.These tiny grains of egoism undergo a process of development to their ultimate destination and purpose, and that developmental process includes three distinct phases: purification, correction, and connection.Hell is the feeling and realization of our egoistic nature, i.e., that our nature is a lowly desire to enjoy for self-benefit alone, and that we wish to enjoy ourselves often on account of others.Purgatory is when we try to correct and cleanse our egoistic nature, where we aim, work, and request to invert our intention from self-benefit to the benefit of others and nature.Heaven is when our egoistic nature becomes inverted and thus operates at the service and benefit of other people.We must go through these three stages throughout our lives in this world until we reach the final third stage. Therefore, if we understand that hell, purgatory, and heaven mean attaining awareness of our egoistic nature, its correction, and then its correct use, everything will be fine.
